In this video I show you how to create Oxygen gas (O2) with just two simple materials that are found in most households, Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), and Chlorine bleach (NaOCl).
WARNING: This procedure uses Chlorine bleach and Hydrogen Peroxide which at certain concentrations can be highly corrosive. Please exercise caution whenever you are using chemicals of this fashion, please do research on any chemicals that are used in any of my videos or other videos to be sure you are safe.
The hardest part of this procedure is trying to light your fire source while trying to contain the Oxygen gas (O2). My suggestion would be to do this experiment in an ordinary water bottle and place a balloon over the top to capture any gas produced and then release gas to fuel the fire.
Materials needed: Bleach, Hydrogen Peroxide, container for the reaction, match or other source of fire.
Oxygen (Chemical Element), O2, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, match, fire, exothermic, pure, kool science, ignition, glass, gas, how to, sodium chloride, dihydrogen monoxide
